Bringing Christmas to Life with Cuboid Self Storage

Some campaigns are about reach. Others are about results. And every now and then, you get to work on something that’s about people, community and genuine impact.

This Christmas, TLH was proud to support Cuboid Self Storage on a campaign that did exactly that…the unveiling of the world’s largest charity advent calendar in Chorley, Lancashire.

A big idea with heart

Cuboid’s vision was bold from the outset. Using their storage containers, they created a towering advent calendar made up of 24 doors, one for each day of Advent, with every opening revealing gifts destined for local children and families through Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas.

It was festive, creative and impossible to miss. But more importantly, it was rooted in something that mattered.

Our role behind the scenes

From the start, TLH worked alongside Cuboid as an extended marketing team, helping ensure the campaign reached far beyond the site itself.

We supported the campaign across:

  • Social strategy and daily organic content
  • Paid social to amplify key moments
  • PR support to help spread the story
  • The build and delivery of the Christmas campaign landing page
  • Promotion of the official launch film
  • On-the-ground support

Throughout December, the goal was to keep the story moving, sharing daily moments, shining a spotlight on the chosen charities and encouraging people to get involved, donate, visit and share.

The response

The reaction to the campaign was incredible.

Across social channels, the campaign generated:

  • 2.5 million combined views
  • 463,000 accounts reached
  • 360,714 YouTube video views

Beyond social, the story quickly gathered momentum. Local radio and TV picked it up, the BBC website featured the campaign and influencers organically shared the story, helping it reach even wider audiences.

But as impressive as the numbers are, they’re only part of the story.

More than marketing

What made this campaign special wasn’t just the scale or the visibility, it was the impact. Thousands of children across the region benefited from the generosity of the community, and Cuboid’s site became a focal point for festive giving throughout December.

For us, it was a reminder of what marketing can be when creativity, purpose and consistency come together.
